All Twitter users will have retweeted a competition at some point, in the vain hope of winning a car or a luxury holiday, even when the 2000 other retweets mean that the odds of winning are heavily stacked against you.
Don’t worry though, because your moment of glory could soon be here, after the twitter account for Analcare, a bum ointment, launched a competition to win a year’s supply of the cream, because you never know when haemorrhoids might strike.
Sure, it might be a slightly more modest prize than this trip to the West Indies, but at least you can be smug in the knowledge that you’re stocked up with the solution to one of life’s most inconvenient problems.
