A man in America scooped the $10million (£667,000) jackpot after purchasing two $20 lottery tickets in order to break a $100 bill for his lunch.
Richard Noll said that he struck lucky when he bought two ‘Platinum Millions’ tickets at Lanzilli Groceria in East Boston in order to break a $100 note that he was attempting to use to purchase lunch at the sandwich store.
On Thursday, lottery officials confirmed that Mr Noll and his wife had claimed a one-time payment of $6.5million (£433,000) after taxes.
Mr Noll, from Revere, a city in the state of Massachusetts, has now said that he plans to buy a new house, make investments on the cash, and perhaps most importantly, take his granddaughter to Walt Disney World.
