The realms of science and myth generally don’t fit well together, until now.
That’s because someone is selling an Apple Macbook on eBay. The catch? It’s haunted! (or so the seller claims)
The spooky computer ‘composes messages itself’ and even sometimes levitates.
How did it come to be haunted? The seller says: ‘I 90% bet it was the time I left it in a graveyard next to an abandoned mental hospital all night by accident.’
The seller goes into very specific detail about how the laptop came to be haunted, and how possessing spirit manifests himself, however he reassures potential buyers: ‘Computer is NOT haunted by a demon or “devil man” negative entity.’

At first it is hard to tell whether this seller genuinely thinks his laptop is haunted, however at the bottom of the listing he promises to load the laptop up with spooky music, as well as some of his ‘drawings’.
The seller also mentions fairly early on in the listing that he is ‘an amateur sketch artist’…
Something tells us this is more of a promotional tool rather than a genuine sale.
Whatever the seller’s intention, it seems to be working, as bidding is already up to $358 (£235).
Of course this isn’t the first time something (or someone) beloved by everybody turns into something truly terrifying.
