‘Would you risk death by buffalo to pull off a Bigfoot hoax?’

This is the question asked by YouTube user ThinkerThunker after footage emerged of a mysterious creature loping through the snow in Yellowstone National Park.

The video, taken my Mary Greeley, was meant to capture roaming bison, but instead caught either tourists hiking or cross-country skiers a Bigfoot-like creature.

Subjects such as these tend to excite conspiracy theorists. In the words of one commentator:

‘WHAT THE BLOODY DAMN HELL WAS THAT???!!

‘LOOK! , NO SENSIBLE INTELLIGENT PERSON CARES ABOUT THE STUPID WATER GEYSER, OR THE STUPID BUFFALO…

‘…NOW ARE THOSE BIGFOOT !  OR WHAT!!???   THAT IS ALL THAT IS IMPORTANT HERE.’
